Slow cooked pork

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put the pork in the slow cooker, add minced garlic, chopped cilantro, and diced jalapenos. (If you like spicy, then leave the seed and ribs in them or milder take them out.) Pour the beer over everything in the slow cooker pot and turn it on. You can do this on high for 4 to 5 hours or low for 8 hours. This just depends on when you want to eat. This is ready when the pork pulls apart easily with a fork or spoon.
  2. Serve with refried beans and some Spanish Rice for a whole meal.
  3. Don’t worry about leftovers if your crew isn’t into leftovers. This pork recipe can be repurposed into pulled BBQ pork for the next night. Pull apart your leftover pork and lightly cover it in your favorite BBQ sauce and heat it in the oven at 350 for about 15 to 20 minutes or until warm. Serve on hamburger buns with some coleslaw. The next night you can chop up your leftover pork and an assortment of veggies with some Uncle Bens rice and make pork fried rice. This pork is so versatile and can be used to create a number of dishes so you are not having the same thing with the leftovers.
